The full veneer treatment is completed in a single trip of 5–7 days to Izmir. Here is exactly what happens:
Day 1: Dr. Bilgin examines your teeth, takes photographs and X-rays, and uses Digital Smile Design (DSD) software to show you a preview of your new smile on screen. You approve the design — shape, size, shade — before any tooth is touched. Nothing proceeds without your sign-off.
Day 2: Under local anaesthesia, a thin layer of enamel (0.3–0.5 mm) is gently removed from the front of each tooth to create space for the veneer. A digital impression or physical mould is taken. Temporary veneers are fitted so you look great while waiting for your permanent restorations.
Days 3–4: Your permanent E-max veneers are crafted in our in-house dental laboratory using CAD/CAM technology, precision-pressed ceramic and hand-layered characterisation to match the approved design exactly. This free time is perfect for exploring Izmir, Ephesus or Çeşme beach (30 minutes away).
Day 5–6: Temporaries are removed. Each veneer is checked for fit, colour and shape before bonding. Permanent veneers are etched, primed and bonded with dental cement. Bite is checked and adjusted. You leave with your completed smile — and fly home the next day.
Veneers are suitable for most adults who want to improve the appearance of their smile. During your consultation, Dr. Bilgin will assess your individual teeth to determine whether veneers, crowns, or another treatment is the most appropriate solution.
Adults with healthy tooth structure (good enamel and no significant decay) who want to correct permanent staining, chips, gaps, uneven sizes or mild misalignment. Teeth should be free of active gum disease before treatment begins. Non-smokers or those willing to quit get the best long-term results.
If a tooth has a large existing filling, is significantly cracked, has had root canal treatment, or has very little remaining enamel, a zirconium crown will provide better coverage and strength. Dr. Bilgin will identify this during examination and never recommend a veneer where a crown is clinically indicated.
