Here is what to expect at each stage of your orthodontic treatment with us:
A full orthodontic assessment including a panoramic X-ray, bite analysis and digital study models. Dr. Bilgin diagnoses the specific alignment issues, determines whether any extractions are required, and produces a written treatment plan with a realistic timeline and total cost before you commit.
Brackets are bonded to the front surface of each tooth using dental adhesive. Arch wires are threaded through the brackets and secured. The bonding appointment takes 60–90 minutes and is completely painless. You will experience mild pressure or tenderness for the first 2–4 days as your teeth begin to respond.
Arch wires are tightened and changed at regular adjustment appointments to maintain continuous pressure as teeth move. UK patients share progress photos with Dr. Bilgin throughout treatment and return to Izmir for major adjustments at agreed intervals — typically every 4–6 months.
Once your teeth have reached their planned final positions, brackets are removed painlessly in a single appointment.
